Sunday, January 8, 2017 is designated as "SEED, SCATTERED AND SOWN SUNDAY" within the Virlina District. We hope every congregation within the district used or will use the Parable of the Sower as the theme for worship as an introduction to our campaign. As of December 13, 2016, this effort has attained 198 pledges which total $374,934 toward our victory goal of $750,000. We have received $170,095 toward the fulfillment of these pledges. Lead Gift visitation is now underway in parts of the district. We anticipate beginning the congregational phase in spring 2017.
As of March 11, 2016 Seed, Scattered and Sown: Reaching Beyond This Generation, the mission resourcing campaign of the Virlina District, had attained 118 pledges totaling $266,359, and we have received $71,694 toward the fulfillment of these pledges.
